Novoloop (formerly, Biocellection) turns unrecyclable plastic waste into chemicals and materials for automotive, construction, and 3D printing applications, creating a circular economic model that keeps waste out of landfills and reduces carbon emissions.
Plastic pollution becomes a pressing global issue, and governments are just starting to incentivize the development and use of alternative materials. Novoloop (formerly, Biocellection) turns unrecyclable plastic waste into chemicals and materials for automotive, construction, and 3D printing applications, creating a circular economic model that keeps waste out of landfills and reduces carbon emissions. Up to 150,000 metric tons of thermoplastic polyurethane are used in apparel and footwear each year. Novoloop successfully developed products that have as little as half the CO₂e footprint of commercial virgin materials, while keeping the mechanical properties of thermoplastic polyurethane. And they’re made from post-consumer plastic waste!
